Our Mission

Our mission is to provide quality senior living in a caring environment. Our mission statement is reflected in all Providence Assisted Living facilities. Residents are encouraged to maintain maximum independence while having access to professional, caring staff in a home-like environment.

Who We Are

We have 6 facilities in Mississippi and Arkansas. Providence properties are all designed to help residents retain a dignified and independent lifestyle in their golden years. We are dedicated to providing affordable assisted living facilities in a secure home-like environment by a staff of caring, committed and compassionate individuals.

Who Qualifies

- Most residents are at least 65 years of age.
- Some may be younger if determined appropriate by  their physician.
- Residents must fall under maximum income levels to qualify for rental assistance such as the Mississippi Medicaid Assisted Living Waiver.
- Medicaid eligible individuals are welcome.

A: Specialized units licensed by the State that offers services specifically for individuals with Alzheimer's disease or related dementia
Q: What is Assisted Living?
A: A long term care option that provides personal care support services such as meals, medication management, bathing, dressing &  transportation.  Assisted Living provides just the level of care one needs to flourish & triumph in their new phase of life.
Q: What is Reflections?
A: A section of secured apartments that offers specialized care of residents who may have a diagnosis of dementia or require extra  physical care due to declining physical/mental conditions.
Q: What is Independent Living?
A: Senior living for residents who do not require assistance with daily activities or 24/7 skilled nursing buy may benefit from  convenient services, senior-friendly surroundings & increased social opportunities.
Q: Will My Loved One Be Able To Bring A Pet?
A: Pets are allowed to visit but are unable to live with a resident.
Q: Can Couples With Different Care Needs Live In The Same Apartment?
A: Yes, we want each resident to feel right at home at Providence and find it very important for them to be with their loved ones.
Q: Is The Staff Screened Before Hiring?
A: Background and reference checks have been completed on all Providence employees.
Q: Who Pays The Bill For An Assisted Living Residence?
A: Residents are liable for payment of their assisted living residence.
Q: Do You Provide Financial Support To Help Offset Rent And Expenses?
A: Residents must fall under maximum income levels and asset limits to qualify for rental assistance such as the  Mississippi Medicaid Assisted Living Waiver.
Q: Do You Accept Medicaid?
A: Medicaid eligible individuals are welcome.
Q: Do You Require A Long Term Contract?
A: At Providence, the standard lease agreement is one year, but you are able to terminate your lease early as long as you  provide a paid 30 day notice.
Q: What About Food Service?
A: Providence provides a restaurant style dining in a beautifully decorated dining room, serving 3 meals a day.
Q: What Are Some Typical Community Events?
A: We enjoy providing our residents with many opportunities to stay active. Bingo, fishing, trips to Wal-Mart, going out for dinner,  walking club, and senior wellness classes are some of the many events to choose from.
Q: Do You Provide Transportation?
A: Each of our facilities are provided with a handicapped accessible van for scheduled transportation.
Q: What About Housekeeping & Laundry Services?
A: We provide laundry services 3 times a week, spot cleaning daily, deep cleaning once a week, and one flat linen service a week.
Q: What Happens In An Emergency Situation?
A: All Providence Assisted Living Facilities offer: Emergency response systems, access to a licensed nurse 24 hours a day,  and call light systems in each bedroom and bathroom.
